How do I confirm my donation was received?
After transferring, email your transaction screenshot or ID to info@climadbangladesh.org. Our team will confirm receipt within 24–48 hours and send a formal acknowledgment letter.
Is there a minimum donation amount?
There is no strict minimum, but we suggest a minimum of ৳ 100 so that processing costs don't outweigh the donation value. Every taka is meaningful regardless of amount.
Can I donate from outside Bangladesh?
Yes. International donors can send funds via international wire/remittance to our United Commercial Bank account. Please contact us at info@climadbangladesh.org for SWIFT/BIC details and currency conversion guidance before transferring.
Will I receive a tax certificate?
We issue official donation receipts for all contributions. If you require a formal tax exemption certificate under Bangladesh NGO registration, please mention this when you email your transaction confirmation.
Can organisations or companies donate?
Absolutely. We welcome CSR contributions and institutional partnerships. Contact us to discuss a tailored partnership agreement, co-branded impact reporting, and employee giving programmes.
Can I make a recurring donation?
Yes — many of our supporters set up a standing order with their bank. Just transfer the amount monthly and let us know by email so we can track and acknowledge each contribution. Recurring donors receive a consolidated annual receipt.
How is my donation used?
100% of your donation goes directly to our programs — climate resilience, community resilience, youth leadership, renewable energy access, and disaster risk reduction. We publish annual financial reports on our website for full transparency.
